European Day of Language
Each year the European Day of Language is celebrated, which developed out of the enthusiasm with which it was celebrated in 2001 (the European Year of Languages). Therefore, on 26 September in all of the 47 member states of the Council of Europe activities are taking place, in which language diversity and the learning of other languages are being celebrated.
We too adhere to this line of activities around the Day of Languages and promote language diversity in Europe. Additional to the promotion materials of our own, we also use the available materials of the Council of Europe.
Further materials are also available on the website of the Council of Europe
about the Day of Languages.
The project was funded with the support of the European Commission and
the Autonomous Region Trentino-South Tyrol.
